Bio HT Printer Filament
Bio HT – biodegradable, high-temperature filament
Bio HT is our bio-based, high temp filament for functional parts that face heat and mechanical load. With a VICAT softening point of 160 °C (VST A, 4 mm) and HDT/B ~115 °C*, it combines stiffness, impact strength and a premium semi-matte finish. The base polymer is biodegradable under controlled industrial composting (DIN EN ISO 14855) and derived from renewable feedstocks—clear, evidence-led sustainability without compromise on printability.
Filamentive Bio HT is supplied on a 100% recyclable cardboard spool, supporting more sustainable 3D printing practices.
- Prints on most open-material FFF printers with standard 0.4 mm nozzles.
- Print temp: 215±25°C
- Bed temp: 0-50°C
- Cooling: up to 100%
- Minimal warping; enclosure generally not required.
- For maximum heat performance, use solid perimeters/infill where needed and consider annealing if your application allows (trial recommended).
Thermal data (VICAT/HDT) are from test specimens; real-world performance varies with part geometry, infill, wall thickness, orientation and print/anneal settings.
