What is PLA Matte?

PLA Matte filament delivers all the ease of regular PLA with a refined, low-sheen finish and reduced layer visibility for a premium aesthetic. This textured PLA is ideal for design models, visual prototypes, and consumer products.  Filamentive PLA Matte is supplied on a 100% recyclable cardboard spool, supporting more sustainable 3D printing practices.

Note: For best results, use a hardened or steel nozzle due to potential for increased abrasiveness.

⚠️ Print Settings Notice — ReFill PLA Matte HS

ReFill PLA Matte HS is a separate product line to standard PLA Matte, made with a distinct high-speed formulation. It is engineered for faster print profiles and systems like Bambu Lab AMS, and requires different settings to standard PLA Matte.

We recommend a nozzle temperature of 220–250°C. Bambu Lab users should use the Bambu PLA Matte profile for optimal results.

Any product in our range denoted ReFill PLA Matte follows this specification.
